Students must understand and utilize concepts designed to accommodate
learning styles and child development/diversity for their content area and grade level.

 

13.1 Demonstrate the appropriate use of various software and self-directed software programs to meet individual learning styles and needs.

The use of music technology software proved quite effective in creating sufficient learning environments for all grade levels of music students.

The need for differentiated instruction exists in all classes including music.

The above link leads to various web sites that address teaching students who need special attention.  Although they may not suffer from a learning disability, they may still require a special means of instruction.

The growing number of Hispanic students at Apple Valley Middle School demands various means of instruction for these ESL students.

            The sites above are helpful when addressing the various learning needs of middle school students.
